Meet Melany – Mental Health Counselor

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward healing takes courage, and I want to honor that. My name is Melany, and I’m a Mental Health Counselor with more than 10 years of experience guiding individuals and families through life’s most difficult and transformative moments.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping them navigate a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I specialize in supporting clients who are experiencing domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, behavioral issues, adjustment disorders, and bipolar disorders.

My therapeutic approach is both evidence-based and deeply human. I draw from a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. These methods are tailored to meet your unique needs, helping you increase self-awareness, gain clarity, and develop practical tools for change. I believe in the power of mindfulness not just as a technique, but as a way of living one that encourages presence, emotional balance, and self-compassion.
